WHAT IS OPTICAL FIBER CALIBRATION

Calibration is a series of test procedures carried out to investigate the working condition of equipment, a test gear or a tool, against the manufacturer’s (or a standard) specification.

OPERATION OF CALIBRATION

The operation of calibration will be closely supervised and run by experts who collectively have more than ten years of optical measurement and calibration experience.

CERTIFICATION/TRACEABILITY

All the calibration procedures, test gears and calibration documentation are in conformance to those set by the respective manufacturers and/or the standards set by the internationally recognized NIST of the United States of America. This ensures that the calibration is recognizable by all parties.

In line with our objective to provide the highest quality of services to our clients, Significant Technologies Sdn Bhd has already secured MS ISO/IEC 17025 from Department of Standards Malaysia (DSM).

BRAND INDEPENDENT

Calibration is a measurement procedure based on a documented standard, thus should not be limited to any specified brands of calibrated instruments. Our calibration services are brand independent.

FACILITIES AVAILABLE

The facilities include among others optical spectrum analyzers, light sources, variable attenuators, optical power meter, OTDR, high bandwidth oscilloscope, multi wavelength meters and tools and consumables.

COMPLETION PERIOD

Realizing the importance of the equipment to your business, you will get them back within 10 working days(maximum 5 units) from the day we receive delivery of the equipment.

OTHER ADDED SERVICES

We can also arrange for transportation to pick up the equipment at your premise and deliver them back upon the completion of the calibration services.

On site calibration also can be arrange provided a sufficient notice is given.
