OPTICAL FIBER CHANNEL DOUBLER (OFCD)
Optical Fiber Channel Doubler (OFCD) is a totally passive optical device capable of doubling fiber utilization. It converts fiber optics simplex transmission mode (one fiber in each direction) into full duplex transmission (bi-directional transmission in a fiber). This is achieved without wavelength conversions and without power supplies.

FEATURES
- Totally passive device – no powering required
- Plug and Play
- Transparent to bit rate and transmission format
- Independent of network architecture and input power
- Transparent to polarization
- Supporting 1310nm or 1550nm
- Supporting WDM channels – C band
ADVANTAGES
- No fiber installation cost
- Double fiber utilization
- Reduce fiber leasing cost
- Increase customers on existing fiber
- Increase services
- Maximize the lease line bandwidth usage
- Insert and Operate – Does not interfere with existing equipment.
