
LANCIER Unified Monitoring System (UMS)
Monitoring cable networks and associated equipment used to be considered
an isolated task. Modern management systems, however, require integration of
the various monitoring tasks to make efficient quality assurance and service
management feasible. LANCIER's Unified Monitoring System integrates all services
and incorporates flexible reporting and a TMN interface.

OPTICAL FIBER CHANNEL DOUBLER (OFCD)
This is a passive, plug and play all-optical device which
converts optical transmissions from 2 fiber cores per
link to a signal fiber fiber per link. This is achieved
without wavelength conversions and power supplies. This
way, the fiber utilization can be increased and the
fiber counts reduced. In the events of shortage of fiber
optics, the existing fibers can be utilized (doubling
the usage) without the need for new cables installation.
This saves significant amount of time and cost. The

AUTOMATIC PROTECTION SWITCH (APS)
APS is our patent-pending product that provides
automatic switching between main fibers and protection fibers in the
event of network failure. It is the perfect add-on solution for
existing fiber optic links or network system equipment. This is a
stand-alone device applicable to all optical transmission system
regardless of their speed and format.

FIBER MONITORING ALERT SYSTEM (FMAS)
FMAS provides automatic fiber break detection
along the fiber link between transceiver at the optical layer to alert
the user. It has alarms and indicators to warn the user on the network
failure. It is the perfect add-on solution for existing fiber optic
links or network system equipment without fault-tolerant features. FMAS
offers plug-and-play solution to the existing fiber link which requires
no system customization.

GPS-BASED MONITORING SYSTEM
Using Global Positioning System (GPS)
signal from the satellite, the device is capable of detecting and
tracking moving bodies in real time. Depending on cost or/and
requirements, client can choose either to transmit the signal received
