About CFOS/T
CFOS is an advance fiber optic training for those wanting to learn more about specialized fiber optic applications or who wish to develop greater skills in the process of fiber optic installation
The topics covered in this course are the processes in performing fiber link testing using OLTS and OTDR. It is a structured 4 days training program that consists of in-class lectures and hands-on activities.
LEARNING OUTCOME
Upon completion of the course, participants shall able to;
- Effectively and efficiently identify fiber network defects
- Provide QA (Quality Assurance) procedures to minimize or eliminate future network outages.
- Explains the variety of testing standards, equipment and technological approaches used in fiber network testing.
- Manage how to choose the variety of the components and technological approaches
CERTIFICATION
At the end of the course, the participants will receive 3 certificates;
- Certificate of Attendance (issued by SIGtech)
- Certificate of Competency (jointly issued by SIGtech and Fiber Optic Association of Malaysia (FOAM)
- FOA certificate (issued by Fiber Optic Association, Inc. or FOA and subject to test result)
