About CFOS/S

CFOS is an advance fiber optic training for those wanting to learn more about specialized fiber optic applications or who wish to develop greater skills in the process of fiber optic installation

The topics covered in this course are the optical fiber jointing type and issues. The course also highlight step to maintain the splicing equipment and tools, fault factor in fusion splicing and equipment setting. It is a structured 2 days training program that consists of that consists of in-class lectures and hands-on activities.

LEARNING OUTCOME

Upon completion of the course, participants shall able to;

Demonstrate an understanding of optical fiber jointing types and issues.
Demonstrate an understanding of fusion splice working principle and setup.
Perform mechanical splicing
Perform Fusion splicing for single and ribbon fiber

Certificate of Attendance (issued by SIGtech)
